Hotel Lion D’Or

Description: This hotel carries more character over comfort, occupying an old converted mansion built in 1820. If you opt for one of the cheaper rooms you receive a nondescript but acceptable place to sleep. However, if you want something with more character, it is wise to pick something that is a bit pricier. Some of these rooms are furnished with mirrored doors, sky-high ceilings, giant balcony doors and marble fireplaces. The Lion D’Or is all about heritage with lovely arched ceilings, ornate decorations and antique trimmings.
