Terry Gilliam sued over Graffiti in ‘Zero Theorem’

The forthcoming film ´Zero Theorem´ of screenwriter Terry Gilliam, allegedly violates copyrights. Three street artists in Buenos Aires that made a big graffiti mural, called Castillo, have filed a lawsuit. The movie is about a computer hacker in search of meaning starring Matt Damon and Christoph Waltz.

Castillo was finished on December 2010 and was registered with the Copyright Office in 2013. It is a well-known and important piece of artwork in the streets of Buenos Aires. It is also one of the few graffiti’s that has survived (more…)
