While travelling or living in Buenos Aires, there are always fun festivals or exciting fairs taking place. For the past week and a half, a large food event has been going on where many restaurants offer delicious food at discounted prices. The third Buenos Aires Food Week has almost come to an end as it is a two-week event from April 1-14. Over 40 restaurants are participating and offering exceptional food at great prices and today is the last day!

All of the restaurants offer three-course meals at a fixed price of $140 Argentine pesos for lunch and $220 Argentina pesos for dinner. The prices include an appetizer, main dish, and dessert, however, do not include drinks, service charge, or tip. Everyone also has the opportunity to donate $1 peso to the La Fundación Banco de Alimentos, The Food Bank Foundation. In 2013, they raised more than 10,000 pesos for the cause.

Food Week is a biannual event, sponsored by Fuudis and Restorando . com. It was created in hopes of encouraging more people to try different foods. In 2013 there were over 37,000 people who participated and they are hoping for even bigger numbers in 2014. All who want to get a taste of these delectable dishes can make reservations online at bafoodweek.com.
