Buenos Aires has made a list of cities with a high quality of life. This list was published by the Mercer consulting firm and calculates city rankings based on factors like education, public transportation, and governmental stability, among others.

This list is published to assist businesses in figuring out suitable compensation and premiums in accordance with the reality of life in each city.

The official ranking of the Argentine capital was 93rd out of 231, but the city came in third for all of Latin America. Only Puerto Rico and Montevideo ranked higher.

The Buenos Aires ranking largely came from its wide variety and high quality of recreational activities.
