Pitch invasions are usually not a big problem for Argentines top level football players. The stadiums have prison style barbed wire, meant to keep rowdy fans away from the field. But this time during the Primera División, even the barbed wire did not help keeping these trespassers out.

The match between Arsenal de Sarandi´s against San Lorenzo was not like a usual football match. Due to some trespassers, the kick-off was delayed for several minutes in the second half. Since the game was deadly boring (0-0), finally there was some action going on.

Who were these trespassers? Well it was an family of cute little birds called Tero´s.

Tero is a type of wader bird native to South America. This bird is particularly common in the basin of the Rio de la Plata. To get the Tero’s of the field the players of San Lorenzo threw the ball at them.
