Sunday, September 7th, Buenos Aires got to enjoy a new edition of the half marathon. This edition of the 21 kilometers turned out to be the most visited in history with 20,216 participants. 68% of them male and 32% female. Of all runners 2,600 were foreigners from 45 different countries.

The race started at 7.30 a.m. from Figueroa Alcorta and Monroe. 1 hour, 3 minutes and 48 seconds later the first contestant finished. The Argentine Matías Roth may now call himself the winner of the biggest race in South America. Best female runner is also from Argentina. Sandra Amarillo finished in 1 hour, 16 minutes and 51 seconds.
