The entrepreneurs of Argentina rejoice, because ChallangeX 2015 is coming to Buenos Aires. The event will take place in the Google office in Puerto Madero on the 3rd of December.

The Challenge Cup is a competition in which innovative startups are displayed. New companies want to improve the world with their inventive efforts. Also they strive to enhance our society in the areas of education, energy, health, and cities.

The Challenge Cup started on 21 October 2014 and will take place in 16 cities in over 11 countries. In these 16 cities Buenos Aires was not included. Due to a new element brought into the competition Buenos Aires could join after all. Additional cities with affinities could host their own event. The winners of the associated competition will join the ChallengeX. Buenos Aires was one of the regional winners and is therefore part of the ChallengeX.

The finals will take place in May 2015 in Washington DC. Four startups from each city (64 startups in total) will compete in the finals.
