NIGHT LIFE

Nightlife

Buenos Aires is a city that shows two sides to itself, with a more relaxed atmosphere during the day and a happening party nightlife after dark. Porteños, the inhabitants of Buenos Aires, are real party people. Their love of life is obvious as soon as you hit up one of the dance clubs, which are packed nearly every night of the week. The flashier clubs of Buenos Aires are still among the best in South America; both for the music and for their quality. The variety of bars and clubs are numerous. Start your night out in a tranquil bar in the San Telmo neighborhood, and then continue on to one of Palermo´s trendy clubs. You can choose to spoil yourself with some exclusive cocktails in Puerto Madero or dance till dawn at one of the electronic clubs in the city center. If you still have some energy later in the early hours of the morning, visit one of the after parties at the Costanera Sur.

Argentineans start their nights out late compared to people in Europe and the US. During the weekends, they dine around 11 p.m. and usually do not enter clubs before 3 A.M.

Prices tend to be quite high in clubs and are more comparable to what one might pay in Europe or in the US.
